Annual Food Drive

Our 4th Annual Food Drive at Green Truck has been a phenomenal success, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve collected an impressive 1,580 items! A special congratulations to Mike Cote, the lucky winner of our $500 Truck Bucks raffle, and a big thank you to everyone who participated.

The drive, which began on November 1st, witnessed an amazing turnout from our community. It was heartening to see neighbors, local businesses, and friends come together, each contributing to a cause greater than themselves. The sight of our bins brimming with non-perishable food and personal hygiene items was a powerful testament to the empathy and kindness that define our community.

What set this year’s drive apart was not just the quantity, but the quality of contributions. Each item donated was a symbol of thoughtfulness and care, ensuring that we could make a substantial and meaningful impact on those in need.

An exciting element of our Food Drive was the raffle, where every donated item was a chance to win $500 in Truck Bucks. This fun initiative not only encouraged more participation but also added a joyful twist to the act of giving. The raffle draw, held on December 1st, was a much-anticipated event, adding an extra layer of excitement to our charitable efforts.

The items collected have been distributed to our invaluable partners, Big Love One Community in North Berwick, Maine, and House Of Hope in Berwick, Maine. These organizations play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community, and our joint efforts have made a significant difference.

This fantastic achievement was made possible by each person who contributed. Your generosity has not only supported those in need but has also strengthened the bonds within our community. This event was a vivid reminder of what we can accomplish when we unite for a noble cause.
