How do I get my medical marijuana card?

What are the eligibility requirements for a medical marijuana card in Maine?

The qualify conditions have loosened in Maine and your doctor may approve you for a medical card based on chronic pain (lasting more than 6 months), PTSD, ALS, Alzheimer’s, Cachexia, Cancer, Crohn’s Disease, Glaucoma, Hepatitis C, HIV, Seizure Disorders, Severe Muscle Spasms, and Sever Nausea. 

Is my out-of-state medical card acceptable in Maine?

Yes, if you have a valid medical card in your primary state accompanied by a “Visiting Qualifying Patient” form and Valid ID, you would be permitted to purchase medicine in Maine.

Are Recreational Adult-use sales legal in Maine?

Although Recreational Use did pass in Maine, the state does not have laws in place to allow for legal recreational sales at this time. Only medical caregiver storefronts and state dispensaries are available to licensed medical patients.

What is the most medicine that I can purchase?

Valid patients may purchase up to 2.5 ounces of flower or 5 grams of concentrate (or an equivalent combination of multiple products) at one time, per day.
